How to get the transcript from a Google Meet call
Meet saves transcripts to the organiser’s Google Drive. Here is where to look.
- 1Open Google Drive for the account that organised the meeting.
- 2Look in the Meet Recordings folder. Transcripts sit alongside any recording.
- 3Open the transcript document and use File → Download.
- 4Transcripts need a Workspace edition that includes them, and someone has to turn transcription on during the call.
If the organiser was someone else, the transcript is in their Drive, not yours.
