How to get the transcript from a Slack huddle
Slack writes a transcript for recorded huddles, in the channel where the huddle happened.
- 1Open the channel or DM where the huddle took place.
- 2Find the huddle recording posted in the conversation after it ended.
- 3Open the transcript attached to that recording.
- 4Copy the text and paste it in.
Huddle transcripts exist only when the huddle was recorded, which is a paid-plan feature and is off unless somebody turns it on. They also tend to be short and informal, so treat the findings as lighter evidence than a full client call.
