Tactiq transcribes Meet, Zoom and Teams from the browser, with no bot in the call. How to export a transcript, and how to pause or remove Tactiq.
- 1Open the transcript of the meeting in Tactiq.
- 2Choose Export to TXT, or Export to PDF.
- 3Upload the TXT file here, or open it and paste the text.
- 4Mark which speaker is you.
Tactiq runs as a browser extension rather than a participant, so no notetaker appears in the attendee list.
Common questions
- Does Tactiq join the meeting as a participant?
- No bot joins. Tactiq runs in your browser. By default it posts a message in the meeting chat saying that it is transcribing; on paid plans you can switch that message off in Tactiq’s settings.
- How do I stop or remove Tactiq in Google Meet?
- To stop it for one meeting, press the pause button in the Tactiq widget. To stop it starting on its own, paid plans have the setting “Always ask about transcribing”. To remove it completely, remove the Tactiq extension in Chrome (Extensions, Manage extensions, Remove) and reload the meeting.
- Which format should I export?
- TXT is enough, and the free plan includes export. Each transcript is exported on its own; speaker names come with it, and you then mark which one is you.
